BOOKLETS-PORTFOLIO

BOOKLETS-PORTFOLIO

The booklets are a compilation of the illustration works I developed between 2017 and 2019, 13 and are divided into three categories: 1. color; 2. line; 3. texture. The booklets can be read in the conventional way, like a book, for both directions: right and left, according to the suggested graphic sequence. Another possibility is to highlight the publication of the cover, so that the illustrations are arranged on a table, in an accordion configuration.

The covers and final sheets were made using the dry embossing technique, using matrix laser cut on cardboard.  The box that holds the booklets was produced with plywood, with the help of technicians of Laboratory of Models from FAUUSP (LAME). Photography and video editing were supported by Julio Cesar Bazanini, from VideoFAU.

INORU ZINE

ZINE INORU

Using only cuts and folds, the zine explores possibilities of play between the printed body and the folding on paper, in order to produce compositions. The final form is free, remaining open to the reader. From photographs taken from a publication of a partnership of three friends: me (body painting and graphic design), Natsumi Makita (photography) and Inoru Kenji (model), in an afternoon of experimentation. Alternating between the images, excerpts from the song "Prayer/ Inori", by the band Mutyumu, are transcribed, alluding to Inoru, the name of the person who appears in the photos.

An alternative version was also produced, in a smaller format, through risographic print:
