    Vanessa Mattara was born in Ina-shi, a Japanese city located in Nagano Prefecture, where she spent her childhood before moving to Brazil at the age of 9. An artist with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (USP), her work focuses on attention to detail and the path of the line, exploring various themes such as the city, the landscape, and simply the small everyday events.

    She carries with her diverse work experiences, having exhibited in venues such as Noah Gallery and Remex Gallery in Shizuoka, Japan; Espaço das Artes, Escola da Cidade, and Catavento Museum in São Paulo; as well as participating in fairs and collaborating with companies like FIESP/SENAI-SP, Live Union, and Todavia Publishing.
